Level 2
All qualified Level 1 applications are acknowledged.
Once a Level 1 application is evaluated and determined to be legitimate and qualified it is presented to the Selection Committee for consideration. This may take anywhere from a week to several months because we are limited by the $amount of sponsorship money available to determine whether an application can be advanced to Level 2.
Level 2 applicants are requested to provide additional information. Amongst other things we will request proof of valid passport, police clearance, medical fitness (HIV, TB, Hep B & C), grade 12 equivalency, English proficiency (webcam interview), and adaptability. Candidate will also be asked to either submit a video interview or give us permission to record and use the webcam interview for the application and sponsorship process.
Level 3
Candidates who proceed to Level 3 are requested to formally apply to the College for acceptance. At this time Theosis pays the full tuition at the College. Once the College accepted the candidate and granted an international student acceptance letter the candidate applies for a student visa at her local Canadian embassy. Further particulars will be shared with candidates at the time.
How long does the application process take?
It can be done in less that 5 months if candidate has travel documents and can satisfy the many requirements quickly. It may take quite a bit longer and usually depends on candidate's ability to satisfy requirements. Its a good idea to start planning a year ahead.
